UK Locations
Sussex – Plush Tents
A delightful site, just minutes from the city of Chichester, and nestled in the South Downs National Park. A tranquil off grid oasis of calm where you can enjoy stylist and comfortable eco living in sumptuous yurts. It’s even got a wood fired hot tub!

Sussex – Amberley Museum
Travel back in time and explore the South’s working past around the 36-acre open-air Museum set in historic chalk quarries. The museum cover a diversity of industrial and local heritage collections, including narrow gauge railways, local bus services, and a multitude of light and rural industrial subjects.
Polaris Outdoor are joining the artisan masters in delivering heritage craft courses on site, join us for spoon carving courses this season. It’s easily accessible by train as the station is right next to the entrance to the museum.

Sussex – WoWo Campsite
Our East Sussex site is accessible to all and has fantastic facilities to enable comfortable stays. They have yurts and shepherd’s huts for glamping and a huge tipi for events. Every camping spot has a fire pit so you can practice your fire skills and learn to cook tasty meals over the campfire.
We have use of the delightful bluebell woodlands and know the site really well for foraging and tracking. It’s amazing what you can find and we would be delighted to teach you to discover more!

Cornwall
Our Cornwall site offers some of the most stunning camping opportunities available in the UK: in beautiful woodland and close to the water’s edge and Cornwall’s dramatic coast line. There is also the option of a spacious, fully fitted bunk house for when weather conditions are bad.
This site is ideal for a range of school camps and survival courses. It is used for our Sea Kayak Survival Expeditions.

Snowdonia
We have three sites that are ideally situated for activities in and around the Snowdonia National Park. In the shadow of Mount Snowdon, one is an “off grid bunkhouse” that allows participant to really know what it feels like to live without many standard comforts that they may be used to at home.
Our other two sites offer similar facilities but with all modern conveniences. Nestled in the shadows of Mount Snowdon, each of our sites is set within incredible scenery. They all have direct access to some of the best walks in Wales to get us out into the great outdoors where the action really is.

Hampshire
Our Hampshire site boasts over 1000 acres of ancient woodland and meadows. It is a magical place that allows us to really show what nature has to offer for food and other important resources.
The site offers an opportunity for wild camping and is ideal for smaller camps and survival courses. It’s also perfect for more rustic team building days and events for SMT and school staff.

Scotland
Our Scottish courses can take place along the coast or up glorious mountains, in one of the wildest environments in the UK. Our survival courses here can include wild camping, navigation training and coastal foraging exercises. Truly test your survival skills usually developed with us on previous courses.

Worldwide Locations
Borneo
Borneo, the third largest island in the world, holds the oldest rainforest on Earth, some of the most beautiful tropical islands and the highest mountain in South East Asia. Our locations are unique, we have use of a beautiful tropical island for our desert island survival activity. Come scuba diving, jungle walking and complete a service project in the jungle for those in need.
Arctic Circle – Finland
Our Arctic Winter expedition is set 400km deep inside Finland’s Arctic circle. A mesmerising peace and calm set the scene with blankets of stars and a hope to view the incredible Northern Lights. Beneath the dancing lights we spend our time in a small Finnish hamlet. Good food and lovely traditional Scandinavian log cabins await your team at our base for the week.
The Arctic Gold expedition is set in the same remote location as our Arctic Winter survival experience, but in the Summertime for a few short months the 3m of snow melts and right under your feet you find… GOLD! Spend the week learning how to pan for gold the traditional way; go hiking in the beautiful and remote countryside, learn brilliant bushcraft skills, canoe a wonderfully meandering river and camp out under the clear night skies by a fire.
Peru
Our location in Peru like all of our trips is unique, but this is extra special. Travel for 3 hours by fast boat towards the head of the Amazon river, deep in the jungle and stay on a tropical island, set in the middle of the amazon river. Cusco and the Inca trail also await as you hike one of the best walking trails on Earth and visit the 7th wonder of the ancient world, Machu Picchu. Then walk the high Ica desert in search of giant whale fossils and other extraordinary archaeological treasures.
Tanzania
If you haven’t been to Southern Africa yet then this will be a treat to feast your eyes on. Open savanna, incredible wildlife, wonderful people, and the highest peak on the continent. Truly a trip of a lifetime, with opportunities to go to Zanzibar after and relax on the most beautiful beaches on Earth.
UK Coast
The UK for those that live there is often undiscovered. Our water-based adventures including the Jet Ski Survival and the Sea Kayak survival trips are done in different locations on the English south coast; one in Cornwall and the other based out of Poole harbour. On these trips you will gain a new love and respect for what the UK has to offer, its beauty and adventure.
