• Day 1 – Arrive in Delhi, A mandatory expedition briefing at IMF
  Arrive Delhi and check-in at the hotel. In the post lunch session we will have to attend a mandatory briefing at the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF). Here we would be introduced to the Liason Officer (LO) for our climb. Overnight Hotel in Delhi
• Day 2 – Fly to Delhi – Leh (3500m). Rest and acclimatize
  Take the early morning flight from New Delhi to Leh. It is a short flight of about 75 mins, but offers great views, as we fly over the Himalayan states of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Overnight Hotel in Leh
• Day 3 – Explore around Leh
  We spend a day allowing our bodies to adapt to the high-altitude and soak in the local culture. There is plenty to keep you occupied. We visit some of the monasteries in and around Leh such as the Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. There is also the option of visiting the old Leh Palace and the Khardung La Pass (world’s highest motorable road at 5,600m/18,400ft). Leh also has a useful market and you could do some last-minute shopping and pick up some gear for the climb. Overnight Hotel in Leh
• Day 4 – Drive Leh to Skiu (3400m) – 3hrs & trek to Sara – 4hrs
  This is one of the most spectacular drives in Ladakh, from Leh we start driving down on the Srinagar Leh Highway, crossing the famous Magnetic Hill and Patthar Sahib Gurudwara on the way to the confluence of Indus and Zanskar. From the Confluence we take the road going into the Zanskar Gorge to reach Chilling, from here the road drive continue till Skiu, a small village. From this point we start our trek and the trek is gentle all the way but seems longer due to sun exposure along the river Markha. In between we stop for our pack lunch and then continue our trekking till we reach to Sara – great camping place next to small homestay. Overnight Camp.
• Day 5 – Trek to Markha (3700m) – 4hrs
  The trail to Markha is not too strenuous but very long – rising about 200m across 11km, crossing the Markha river a couple of times. Markha is a substantial village, complete with a derelict fort on the hillside and a small village monastery. Overnight Camp.
• Day 6 – Trek to Thachungste (4150m) – 4-5hrs
  Kang Yatse (6400m), a magnificent snow-clad mountain commands the views for the next two days. On the walk there are sights of some fascinating geological creations of large boulders balanced precariously on top of consolidated earth spikes. Continue down over a bridge to Thachungtse, a lovely valley to camp in. A popular place to spot herds of blue sheep slide up and down the steep cliffs with incredible agility. Overnight Camp.
• Day 7 – Trek to Nimaling (4720m) – 4hrs
  You pass several mani (stones with prayer inscriptions) walls and suddenly come across a small lake. The view is wonderful from here – both of Kang Yatse, whose bulk gets reflected in the still waters of the lake, and also of the Markha Valley which we are now well above. Overnight Camp.
• Day 8 – Trek to Chogdo over Kongmaru La (5130m) 6-7hrs, drive to Leh (2hrs)
  We pack our camping equipment and proceed to the grazing grounds of Nimaling. From there it is a gradual ascent to Kongmaru La pass at 5260m with prayer flags fluttering. Beautiful views all round from the pass. We descend steeply at first before it becomes gradually as we reach the stream. A little ahead from there is Chuskirmo with chortens and a small shop. We walk a little further down and get into vehicles to drive to Leh. Overnight at Hotel
• Day 9 – Drive Leh to Kargil (2800m) 6-7hrs
  We drive at a leisurely pace down to the Indus valley – stopping at the popular sightseeing points. Nimu, the confluence of river Indus & Zanskar, Alchi monastery & Lamayuru monastery would be the main attractions for the day. Overnight Hotel in Kargil
• Day 10 – Drive Kargil-Tangol (3-4hrs)
  You get the first views of the Nun-Kun peaks today as you take the bumpy road by the Suru River. You reach Tangol and rest. Overnight Camp
• Day 11 – Trek to Nun Base camp
  Sort out equipment and start the hike to Base Camp. Overnight Camp
• Day 12 – Rest day at Base Camp
  Acclimatization day at base camp as we make final preparations to start the climb.
• Day 13-Day 22 – Climbing Period
  We set up 3 camps (C1-5500m, C2-6100m & C3-6400m)
• Day 23
  Trek Base Camp to Tangol
• Day 24
  Drive Tangol to Leh
• Day 25
  Free day in Leh
• Day 26
  Fly Leh-Delhi (3500m); debriefing at IMF
• Day 27
  Trip Ends. Fly home

– Any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, landslides, road conditions and any other circumstances beyond our control.
