A: Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced professionals with certifications in mountaineering, wilderness first aid, and outdoor leadership. Many of them hold Mountain Leader qualifications and have extensive experience guiding expeditions in various mountain environments.
Q: Are the Mountain Training Weekends suitable for solo participants, or do I need to join with a group?
A: Both solo participants and groups are welcome to join our Mountain Training Weekends. Our courses provide opportunities for individual skill development as well as group activities. If you would like to arrange a bespoke date for yourself or a group please get in touch.
Q: Will transportation be provided to the training locations, or do participants need to arrange their own travel?
A: Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the training locations. Detailed instructions on how to reach each venue will be provided prior to the weekend. Carpooling options may be available, and participants are encouraged to coordinate with each other for shared travel arrangements.
Q: What happens in case of inclement weather during the Mountain Training Weekends?
A: Our courses run rain or shine, and we’re well-equipped to handle various weather conditions. However, in the event of severe weather that poses safety risks, our instructors may modify the itinerary or relocate activities to alternative locations to ensure the well-being of participants.
